GOLF TOURNAMENTS

The Del Norte Golf Course hosts a variety of golf tournaments throughout the year, including a men’s club championship, a women’s club championship, and a mixed tournament. The tournaments are open to all skill levels and are a great way to meet new people and enjoy a day of golf.

The men’s club championship is a 36-hole stroke play event that is held in the summertime. The women’s club championship is a 18-hole stroke play event that is held in the fall. The mixed tournament is a 18-hole scramble that is held in the summer.

2023 Men’s Club Tournament Schedule

July 28/29/30 – Bill Speer III Memorial Tournament & Calcutta (course closed, limited to first 120 players)
August 5 – Del Norte Triathlon
August 19 – Del Norte Football Tournament
August 26/27 – Member/Member (two man best ball Saturday, both balls count Sunday, gross and net divisions, get your own partner)
September 2 – Apple Peddler
September 2 – Club Championship Final Matches (must be played)
Week of September 4 – Aeration
September 23 – Two Man Chapman
September 30 – Sheriff’s Posse Tournament
October 7 – Two Man Points (tee off by 11 am, count both balls net, make your own team)
October 21 – Tournament of Champions (shotgun start 10 am, anyone finishing in the $ in any Men’s club event will qualify, double prize fund)
November 11 – Greenskeepers Revenge
December 9 – Christmas Party
